This document is provided for information purposes. It is not legal advice. Have it reviewed by qualified counsel before relying on it.
These terms and conditions (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the Feen software, an AI-powered accounting and invoicing tool published and operated by Pixl SRL. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these Terms in full. This document is provided for information purposes and does not constitute legal advice; we recommend having it reviewed by qualified counsel.
1. Parties
The service is published by Pixl SRL, a Belgian private limited company registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number BE 0805.449.693, with its registered office in Brussels, Belgium ("Pixl" or "we"). You may reach us at contact@feen.be. Any natural or legal person who subscribes to an account or a plan is referred to below as the "Customer" or "you".
2. Definitions
"Service" means the Feen platform available at app.feen.be, including associated features (accounting dashboard, PSD2 bank synchronisation, Peppol electronic invoice issuance and receipt, third-party integrations). "Account" means the Customer's personal workspace. "Customer Data" means all documents, receipts, entries and financial information transmitted to the Service by the Customer. "User" means any natural person using the Service on behalf of the Customer. "Content" means any document, file or information uploaded or generated by the Customer via the Service.
3. Description of the service
Feen is a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) solution primarily aimed at Belgian small and medium-sized enterprises and self-employed professionals. Its features include invoice issuance, automatic reconciliation of bank transactions via PSD2, automated data extraction from receipts (OCR and AI), preparation of accounting entries, and the sending and receiving of electronic invoices through the Peppol network (certified access point: Recommand.eu). Feen is not an accounting firm. Accounting, tax and legal decisions remain the sole responsibility of the Customer and, where applicable, their chartered accountant. Feen is a tool, not a legal or tax adviser.
4. Subscription, pricing and billing
Access to the Service is subject to a monthly subscription starting from €7 excl. VAT per month. Current pricing is displayed on the pricing page at feen.be. Prices are stated in euros, excluding applicable Belgian VAT. Billing takes place at the start of each monthly period and is automatically charged via Stripe to the payment method provided by the Customer. Any month started is due in full. No refunds are issued for subscription periods already billed, except in cases of material breach by Pixl. Pixl reserves the right to change its prices subject to thirty (30) days' prior notice; new prices apply from the Customer's next billing period.
5. Trial period
On first registration, the Customer benefits from a fourteen (14) day free trial with no payment method required. At the end of the trial, the Customer may choose to subscribe to a paid plan; otherwise, access to the Service is suspended. Customer Data is retained for thirty (30) days after the end of the trial, after which it may be permanently deleted.
6. Acceptable use
The Customer undertakes to: (a) provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating and maintaining their Account; (b) use the Service in accordance with applicable Belgian and European laws and regulations; (c) not use the Service for fraudulent, illegal or deceptive purposes; (d) keep credentials confidential and notify Pixl without delay of any suspected unauthorised use; (e) not reverse-engineer, decompile, attempt to disassemble the Service or circumvent its security mechanisms. The Customer is solely responsible for the accuracy of Data entered or imported, in particular for their tax and social security filings.
7. Service availability
Pixl uses its best efforts to ensure service availability of 99% calculated on a monthly basis, excluding scheduled maintenance announced in advance and force majeure events. Maintenance operations are, where possible, carried out outside Belgian business hours. Pixl's obligation is one of means, not of result. No strict uptime guarantee is given.
8. Data protection
The processing of personal data is described in detail in our Privacy Policy, available at feen.be/privacy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. All data is hosted within the European Union. Pixl complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679). As regards Customer Data containing personal data processed on behalf of the Customer, Pixl acts as a processor within the meaning of the GDPR.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Belgian law, Pixl's total liability to the Customer, all heads of damage combined, is limited to the amount of subscription fees actually paid by the Customer during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability. Pixl shall not be liable for indirect damages, including loss of turnover, profits, customers or data, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence on its part.
10. Termination
The Customer may terminate their subscription at any time from their customer area on app.feen.be, with effect at the end of the current monthly period. Pixl may terminate the contract in the event of serious breach by the Customer — in particular for non-payment, fraudulent or unlawful use — after a formal notice that remains ineffective for fifteen (15) days. The Customer may export their data at any time during the contract and during the thirty (30) days following termination.
11. Peppol integration disclaimer
Feen integrates access to the Peppol network via Recommand.eu, a certified Peppol Access Point. Pixl is not a Peppol Authority and does not administer the Peppol network. The interoperability of messages exchanged via Peppol depends, in particular, on the compliance of recipients with the technical specifications of the network. Feen is a technology tool; it does not exercise any accounting, tax or legal advisory function. The Customer is responsible for ensuring their electronic invoices comply with applicable legal and tax obligations.
12. Intellectual property
Pixl retains all intellectual property rights relating to the Service, including the software, interfaces, databases and documentation. For the duration of the subscription, the Customer is granted a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right of use. The Customer retains full ownership of their Data. For the duration strictly necessary to provide the Service, the Customer grants Pixl the hosting, processing and display rights needed to operate it.
13. Confidentiality
Each party undertakes to preserve the confidentiality of non-public information communicated by the other party in connection with the performance of the contract, for the duration of the contract and for five (5) years after its termination. This obligation does not apply to information that is already public, becomes public through no fault of the receiving party, or whose disclosure is required by law or a competent authority.
14. Changes to these Terms
Pixl may amend these Terms to reflect technical, regulatory or commercial developments. Any material change will be notified to the Customer by email or via the Service with thirty (30) days' prior notice. If the Customer does not accept the changes, they may terminate their subscription free of charge before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute concerning their interpretation or performance falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of the Brussels judicial district, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions that may apply.
16. Contact
For any questions about these Terms, you may contact Pixl SRL at contact@feen.be, or by post in Brussels, Belgium. We aim to respond within one (1) month.
